This policy is written in plain language because privacy policies should be. It covers what this site collects, why, and what you can do about it.
What the contact form collects
If you use the contact form, we receive whatever you type into it: your name, your email address, and your message. We use that information only to read and reply to your message. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your address for anything else.
The fit quiz
If you enter your email at the end of the quiz, we store your email address and your quiz result (the program we matched you with and the alternate) with Kit, the service we use to send email. We use it to send your result, a starter plan, and a short series of follow-up emails about language learning. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or share your email address. To have it deleted, use the unsubscribe link or email contact@bestlanguagecourses.com.
Your email is never sold
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address or any other personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Full stop.
Cookies and affiliate tracking
This site contains affiliate links. When you click one, the partner company may place a cookie in your browser so it can credit this site if you later make a purchase. These cookies are set and controlled by the partner company rather than by us, and they are governed by that company's own privacy policy. They do not give us access to your personal details. We see only that a purchase occurred, not who made it.
Third-party links
This site links to other websites, including the language programs we review. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Once you leave bestlanguagecourses.com, their policies apply, and we encourage you to read them.
Requesting deletion
If you have contacted us and would like your messages and personal information deleted, email us at contact@bestlanguagecourses.com with your request and we will delete what we hold. If you would like to know what information we have about you, the same address works.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
