Our picks are based on the review criteria published on this site: teaching method, pricing model, language coverage, who the program suits, and who it does not. A company having an affiliate program, or how much it pays, is not one of those criteria. If a recommendation ever reads like an advertisement, we have failed at the only job this site has.
