Best Language Courses is an independent review site. We compare online language learning programs and try to tell each reader which one fits them, rather than which one has the biggest advertising budget or the highest commission. Every article is built around the same question: who is this right for, and who should skip it?

The site exists because this category is hard to shop in. Language courses make sweeping claims: fluency in weeks, effortless learning, methods backed by science. There is no easy way for a normal person to test those claims before paying, and the difference between a program worth its price and one that is not is rarely visible on the sales page.

How we review. We start with what each program says about itself: its teaching method, lesson format, catalog, and pricing model. We are adding hands-on notes as we test each program through its free trial or partner access, and each page says how far our own testing has gone. We then read what long-term users report across independent sources, looking for the pattern rather than the loudest complaint. We judge teaching method rather than marketing, state at least one honest weakness in every review, and disclose every affiliate relationship on the page.

We use AI tools to organize research and draft comparisons. Every factual claim is checked against the program's own materials, and the judgments on this site are made by a person, not generated. We claim no credentials beyond doing the work carefully and showing our reasoning.
